Waiting for the Weekend

Another pastel today, and it still needs some attention. However, I am not going to touch it, until the sun passes over the items one more time. I really liked how the shadows on the floor create a barrier of sorts. The sneakers are ready to go out an play, only to have to wait until the weekend.

I began a pastel last night, and it never ceases to amaze me what a few strokes of color will create. Evening light is needed to finish this, but it doesn't need much more. I want to put in a few more areas of red to indicate the shirt on the floor. However, the shoes are the story here, and boy do they have stories to tell.
