A recent move, with new sounds, smells, and views. Easy public transportation for my daughter, and a wonderful artist community for me. Hills for my hubby to bike, and explore. We are almost settled.
Art continues with work in progress:
(ouch .... bad photo)

I have made time to visit Michael's studio for inspiration, and friendship, and some solid hours of work. My studio is organized, and I have an abundance of space to create. Finishing up my shoe series, then back to the Shadow Series, and Treasures. I will update my process and progress.
First a quick trip to The Hampton's and a stop over in NYC.

It all sounds splendid, Robin. And I can see your art is going very well. Have a great trip - the Hamptons and NYC, it doesn't get much more splendid than that :)
Thank you Robyn.
I just wanted to let you know about a new forum for artists as well as musicians, fashion designers, and filmmakers, http://www.PutItOn.com. As an artist I think that the mission is really great. The site gives you a free gigabyte of space for portfolio, there is no commission taken for sales, audio and visual works can been streamed in their entirety, you can create live personal broadcasts for your followers, and anything you write will be translated into 10 languages. So check it out!
Robin! Hi. Hope you remember me - Valerie Pang from the PFSC (Vikki's Mom). Just caught up with all your wonderful work again which continues to impress and amaze me! But along with that wanted to congratulate you on your son becoming a Marine - you must be so incredibly proud! I wish him all the best in his career - going to be tough for you, I'm sure.
Where have you moved to? Sierra Madre? Look for me on facebook under Valerie Margaret, or through Victoria Boa's page.
I've also forwarded your website address to a friend of mine who's also a talented artist and looking for ways to advertise her work. I'm sure she'll get some great ideas as to what can be done.
Take care!
Valerie
Hi Robyn - The trip is over. The east coast has been receiving a lot of rain, and our week there was no exception. I am glad that I did not take my art supplies, because in addition to paying more per suitcase, I would have carried them and not been able to go out. More reading time.
Picked up... Three Cups of Tea.
Thanks Shana - I will check it out.
Hopefully this isn't Bad Spam
Valerie - Of course I remember you. How are you? I was just thinking about Vicki the other day. Remembering how she use to skate around to her music, and now Rebecca is doing the same thing. Can you believe she is going to be a Senior in HS this year?
Thank you for your wishes re: Eric's new adventure. He began classes last week for his MOS and is quite excited. We are all thrilled with his choice, and true, I do worry when I let myself think of all the negative, but I don't go there often. I think of all that he has gained so far, and I know it is only going to continue to be positive.
I am going right now to check you out on FB. Talk to you there.
