Fiche Residence 10x14" watercolor on Arches 140lb
I have recently finished a commission of a lovely home here in South Pasadena. The homeowner is very proud of her roses. We waited until they were in bloom before we proceeded. I have framed it, and will deliver it today to its new owner.

Congratulations to that demanding piece Robin ! Excellent lights/tonalities and balance of masses and details. It has this stunning bright clarity and stillness that I find unique in your paintings. I am amazed that you can do that not only in oils,but also in water colors! Wow

I appreciate all the kind words you send my way. I have never attempted to do one of these home portraits en plein air. I work from photos, so a bit of a cheat. Luckily I still can imagine the space, and work with that in mind.
Now on to my next one. I think I was able to capture a few images to work from today.
