Let's Play 20 x 24" pastel on Canson
I did a new piece yesterday with the intention of donating it to an organization here in town. We have been asked to submit one or two pieces of work. I see it as a great way to put my name, and art, in front of some prominent people in the community.
I am rushing to get it framed up to drop it off this morning, but I wanted to capture the image quickly and post. I will fill you in on the results when I know more. It should be interesting.

Robin, I hope you're taking high res. photos of this series and copying them to a CD. Especially if you're giving some away. They'd make wonderful prints. This is the best one so far, IMO.
WOW, Robin, how do you do it? Amazing.Ginny
Beautiful - light, colours, composition!! I'm sure it will do great!
Another great piece in a shoe series. This definitely has movement and anticipation in it.
Donating pieces are a good networking tool, although there is sometimes a sting to it as well.
Billy - I am going to be doing that especially with these. I have been flying much to fast to make it happen but soon.
I just might consider prints on these. Good idea.
Ginny - you are funny. You do it too, so you should know how it is done.
Miss you!
Felicity - Thank you. I do hope that it brings some money to the organization.
It is fun to go through Rebecca's closet. I just might need to go buy her more shoes for my collection ;]
We shall see how this benefit goes. I have a few across the southland that I could work with, but it needs to be a win win.
Such a fun piece and so well executed, Robin. Those dramatic lights are my favorites in your work.
A lovely pastel...I like the fun touch in the composition(the shoe on the ball!)

Wow Robin this is beautiful, what a great series of paintings! I agree that you need to get some great photos of this!
Mary - Thank you for your consistent support. It is fun to play with the shadows.
Ronell - I enjoy making a story with my work. These shoes called for a bit of humor. Thanks for stopping by.
Desiree - Thanks so much. I do hope to get some photos. This is off to the auction, so if it sells I will have to arrange that with the new owners. Working to get my other work done as well.
