Unadorned - Update

Unadorned charcoal on Rives BFK 21x21"

I am thrilled how this is progressing. I hope you can see the changes that I have made since my last posting. I am very close to completing this shadow picture, and I can't wait to see it framed.
I have some ideas on what I want to dress it up in, but that must wait until I step back and put the pencil down.

Once again, bear with me. This photo was taken with my iPhone and uploaded here. I am waiting patiently for my computer. It should be any day. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Robin, you should be thrilled. This is looking fabulous!! I love the bright light behind the two largest trunks and the smaller, softer shapes arouond the edges. Beautiful!

I like this very much. The varying light is so well done and gives it such depth. No wonder you're pleased. This is a winner!

Thank you Stacy. That is also what grabbed my eye when I captured this shadow. I wanted to remember that glow as I worked more into it.

Thank you Jeanette. I have been working very hard to even out the charcoal, and I know that this is a process that has no end, but I am almost pleased with the final.

Billie, I am sure that the camera has a lot to do with the warm/cool ratio of the pics. The paper is bright white, and I have pulled out the charcoal on the one triangle to have the paper the brightest. I am very close to completion, and then will frame it up.
