Just Picked... with aphids

Can't believe I am still picking such beautiful roses, in November. Thanksgiving week no less. I don't even mind that there are a few hitchhikers (aphids) coming along for a warm ride. Every time I walk by these white roses I am taken back by their beauty, and as they open up a little more each day, they are stunning. My attempts to capture their beauty with the camera, just does not do them justice. If time allows today I might have to get out my paints to etch their image into my mind.

I want to say thank you to all my blogging - internet friends. Thanks for your support, the gifts you share through your art, and the knowledge that you all give so freely. It is a pleasure knowing you and sharing my passion. I wouldn't have made it through some personal challenges this year if it weren't for a few of you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being there for me.

Bit by Bit

I am continuing to work around this drawing, to create depth in the shadow, while keeping the composition pleasing. I have a few shadow drawings in the process, so when I get tired of looking at one, I can move to another. 

I do want to hustle with these since I have a few reasons to have them completed.
Back to the drawing board.
