Those of you close to me, know how true this horoscope is for me:

Heartened By Hope
Cancer Daily Horoscope
Your hopes can be your guide today as you struggle to fulfill the abundance of midterm goals outlined in your agenda. If you find your day’s objectives intensely physically, intellectually, or emotionally taxing, the resultant lack of progress can prompt you to question both the validity of your ambitions and your ability to achieve them. If, however, you devote a portion of your mental energy to envisioning the bright future your efforts are designed to bring about, you will likely discover that the difficulties you face no longer seem impossible to overcome. Concentrating on your aims can help you stay motivated today by encouraging you to think about the pleasures to come rather than the challenges at hand.

We can overcome almost any form of adversity when we approach life’s challenges with hope in our hearts because it is the soul-deep optimism we feel that motivates us to keep progressing, even when it seems the odds aren’t in our favor. A positive outlook can be a profound source of strength and energy because it enables us to concentrate on visions of a successful future rather than the challenges we are facing in the present. As we imagine the sweet taste of victory, our resolve is solidified and the difficulties before us no longer seem impossibly overwhelming. Our expectations sustain our spirits, ensuring that our journeys, however taxing, are enjoyable rather than frustrating. The hope you feel while pursuing your ambitions today will help you stave off the dejection that often accompanies setbacks.

Commission Time

I have just recently finish a commission for a lovely new friend. It will be give to her husband as a Father's Day gift. There is absolutely no way he reads my blog, so I can share early. I had them professionally photographed this past week, which made it much easier to hand them over to her yesterday, after the kids had colored a portfolio to put them in.

She is having them framed, and I am so excited, because she let me help her choose the frames. Then she took me to lunch afterwards. I think I am enjoying this process.

She is thrilled with the final product, and will be placing them over her couch. I will have access to photograph them in their resting place in a couple of months.

This is my ticket to Michael's workshop in Mexico.

They do not need much explanation:

Moving On

Conquering any difficulty always gives one a secret
joy, for it means pushing back a boundary-line
and adding to one's liberty.
