Cobb Estate I 6"x8" oil on linen panel
I love to see the fresh growth after a good rain, here in Southern California. At the Cobb Estate on Wednesday it was peeking out. Set again the blue hills in the background, I found my spot for the morning. My intention was do do three small paintings and call it a day. I think I visited a bit too much because I only completed one and a half. The plan is to go back next week, so I will finish off my group of three.

There are lovely restful colours in this piece Robin. The lushness of the foliage and new growth are quite apparent.
It makes me long for the snow to go so I can see green again. Sigh.

Yes I wish I could bring you out of the snow for a day. What I like about this place is that it isn't manicured, and is allowed to just be. Colors are very natural.
Makes me want to run back to SoCal as quickly as possible.
This is such a tranquil piece robin, its beautiful.
