Another lovely Plein Air, Robin. You are so good at all of your art!
Robin, I always enjoy my visits to your blog. This plein air is lovely. Your skills are so strong. I'm trying to do plein air sketches and studio landscapes until my skills improve!! Lovely colors too!
I was just watching a slideshow of the Flickr EDM group and this beautiful landscape jumped out at me. Then I saw it was you, Robin. It did stop me in my tracks. Absolutely lovely.

Lindsay- Good to hear from you. Thank you. You are doing what is necessary to improve...practice. A year ago, my plein airs were ... well, let's just say...definitely in the study mode.

Another beautiful painting Robin!! You make it look so effortless. Even knowing you have put in the time and practice, it still looks that way to me. In this painting I love all the different greens and the touches of purple. Wonderful!!

Robin you can really tell by this painting that you were in the zone and communing with nature. That is such a good feeling. Beautiful work.
Toni - interesting obeservation. It usually is a blur of time and space on a good day.

Wendee- It is fun to find those pockets of beauty. I find though I love to paint the more eclectic landscape. I realize I need to balance it with some urban once in a while.
Katherine - thank you for that comment. It is going to be in a show within the next two weeks. It is all framed and ready to go, and I am pleased with the result.
