Anita, posted this for the WetCanvas Weekly Drawing Thread. When I needed a break from my studio work, I spent an hour on this one.

Robin, this is very nice. I like the mystery of it. Good reflections.

Beautiful! And just an hour of work during a studio break. I can't wait to see what you have on your easel! Have a wonderful year in 2007 Robin, you deserve it.

I keep thinking 'Hounds of the Baskervilles' when I see a dark, misty image such as this. Its lovely work Robin, as always.

Robyn - I am attempting to spend the most time on my art from life studies.

John - I appreciate your stopping by and taking a look.

Sioux - with such lack of detail there is a sense of mystery, I do agree.

Jeanette - thank you for your kind words.

Billie - actually the lack of detail made it an easy reference for me. The paper also did half of the work.

Hi Robin,
may I call this the peak of romantic longing in your work so far ? :). Very impressive not to say hypnotic per mystery..

My goodness, Martin. All that from a photograph? I just brushed it off as a simple exercise, and yet I do see how it connects to my other work by technique. How interesting.

Ooo, how moody and delicate. I love seeing this work. Mmmmmmmm. You should print these up as notecards and sell them, or ... something ... Robin. All of these have such a nice quality of telling a story. I'd buy a set in a heartbeat.

Wendee - an interesting idea that I will keep in mind.
