Mr. Urban Wrayscape, has a softer side. It was so hot today, he invited Bill and myself to come to his studio to paint flowers. His studio is a beautiful space. I am envious.
Paintings propped and hung everywhere. They look good on my screen, but oh, so much better in person. I feel I had a successful day and am honored to paint along side William.

Delicious, Robin! And just look at those great corners! Well done!
argh! I didn't even think of that. My brain goes mushy when too much is going on. My upper left corner is dead. Guess I could go back in and play with it. Not sure.
Beautiful! the vase and flowers have wonderful depth, shape and color. your corners are just fine.
Learning how to ride certainly isn't easy. I am hopeful that it becomes easier.
Robin, this is just gorgoeus. The softness of the petals contrast nicely with the shiny container.
Disagree Robin, think the top left corner echoes the bottom right. Nice balance.
Thank you Mary. We made the decision to punch the color up in the flowers, because they were dried hydrangeas and very muted. It would also have made a nice aged painting too.
Anita - I will trust your eye, but it isn't easy to think about it all in such a short time. I hope it becomes easier with practice
Very beautiful! I think I love the vase with the various highlights.
