Sophie

In my journey to overcome obstacles I have set up in my creative process, I am pushing myself to work on figure drawing. For now, until I can begin a formal class, I have been working from stock photography. It is not the best, but allows me time and patience to get a grip on this subject.
I apologize if it offends anyone.

I don't see any obstacles you have to overcome here!

You know Terri, it is the chatter we have with ourselves. I am glad that it doesn't show. Let's see if I can pull off 3D.

Robin, your figure drawings are already outstanding!! I can't imagine what they'll be after you take a class. I've missed chatting with you on WC! The girls have end of the school year stuff and I'm doing some freelance work so no time to post. But I've been having this urge to sketch and I think of you whenever I want to pick up my sketchbook. Your sketches inspire me.

Funny thing that inner chatter! Just gets in the way of having fun and thats what it's all about! Your work is lovely as always.

I miss you too Stacy. I encourage you to take your sketchbook with you when doing the "kid stuff". You will slowly page by page, gain confidence and fill a book without realizing it. Just one a day. I am glad that my little 5x8's can be an inspiration.

Anita - I am encouraged if someone as talented as you are approves this one.

Lindsay - Luckily I can have fun while listening to the chatter. Thanks for stopping by.
