The photos that William sent, have me packed and ready. I am so counting on a clear day. This is why we have a concrete river through L.A. It is for all of the artists that appreciate urban settings. I find the places we travel to, so graphic. I want to make folks stop and realize the wonder in the everyday. The grace of a concrete column, and the beauty of a shadow.

Have a great day painting. The shadows are lovely. They say so much about what is there, imply what is just outside the cropped photo - - and yet people really seem to overlook the beauty of shadows.
I'm going to see if I can get a bit of sketching in this weekend ...
