After rushing to make a flight to N.Y., I forgot my sketching supplies at home. So after the symptoms of withdrawal, I broke down and found a trusty Barnes & Noble, and purchased a Moleskine sketchbook. Luckily I had a cheapo mechanical pencil bouncing around in my bag, and it slid across the paper. I christened the book while at a upscale restaurant called ....del Arte'. Very fitting. Since I have been leary of drawing people, I have decided that I would simply jump in whenever possible. Just Do It! Those hypnotized by their computer screens are great subjects, oblivious to reality. Also being victim to airline seatbelts, it gives much needed solitude to sketch... the everyday items, travel channel subjects, TV personnel, and flight attendants. Five hours simply "flew" by.
Thank you all for your support!

In spite of all the stress you've been through, your drawings look cool and collected - no doubt that helped you stay "centered" through it all. I hope things will be more peaceful from now on ...
Sketching can be one's sanity!! These are wonderful!!!
What you said is so true. And the computer gazers are excellent targets for sketching. You really captured the trapped feeling on an airplane. I like the mix of people and ordinary objects.
