Robin -
I enjoy all the quotes and excerpts that you post and this last quote is really, very good. :) Something to pause for and mull over ..

I find it so interesting that some with extraordinary talent, and discipline, hesitate to call themselves artists. While others that slap two materials together, with no thought other than the act was fun, hang the name artist around their neck.

Interesting thoughts Robin. I believe that artists are a little in awe of what flows from their mind onto the paper or canvas and still don't quite believe it. Those who boast of their accomplishments don't have that same sense of magic about the process. They simply expect it to happen each and every time.
