A Finale

It is an end to a very eventful year.
However, I am glad to move forward into a new beginning.
I have set my goals high, yet it feels like I am being guided to reach them.
It grabs me in the morning and I have to push away to rest.
Thank you for this gift. I promise to trust you.

Another Year

Happy birthday, Jerry!
Uneventful day, just trying to get organized so that I can begin creating without chaos.
Work wise I am going to begin by revisiting my graphite work.
It feels good to hold the basic of tools again.
The pencil seems to find its way, as in this piece that seemed to draw itself.
I have titled it:

A new year, new art, and new work.
What a wonderful beginning...
to be able to meet my muse after 25 yrs. What a dream come true!
Joseph Raffael and his wife Lannis were in N.Y.C. for his show in October, at the Nancy Hoffman Gallery. I flew to N.Y. to meet him. He is everthing and more. We understand the question, "Why now?"

I have also had the opportunity to work and learn from Mary Winterfield, at A.C.C.D.
The following images are from her Abstract Painting class this fall.
I will continue to learn to see color as an artist, rather than as a designer.
